Under the terms of thre agreement, StreamScape will offer the MongoDB database as an optional, turn-key component that is part of the Reactive Data Platform™. The combined technologies allow application developers to take advantage of the open, schema-less nature of MongoDB while providing an SQL-based query language, data definition and transactional capabilities of a traditional database. StreamScape's Application Data Engine and DevOps utilities complement MongoDB with a powerful application data layer and API authoring tools.
Users can manage and version document schema, seamlessly work with data stored in MongoDB, stream or JOIN it to data from other sources.
